Why the Bobcat S70 suits Glendale lots
A lot of Glendale homes are single-storey on standard lots with block wall and a side gate. That gate is the deciding factor: the S70 is 36 inches wide and goes through it. A full-size skid steer does not, and the choice is then between removing a section of wall or moving the rock by wheelbarrow.
For the older, larger properties north of Peoria Avenue and out toward the Agua Fria, open access is more common and the Kubota SSV65 makes more sense — more capacity, and an air-conditioned cab for summer work.
