Delivery is $100 flat within 10 miles
One flat $100 covers delivery and pickup for any machine within 10 miles of our Glendale yard. Past 11 miles we quote by mileage — that covers the East Valley and the far West Valley.
The dump trailer can also be self-towed if you have a 3/4-ton truck with a brake controller. If you do, that saves you the delivery fee entirely.
What a job actually costs
Rental rate plus delivery is the whole number. There is no daily insurance add-on and no environmental fee.

The one extra you can trigger: machines arrive with a full tank of diesel and must come back full, or a refuelling fee applies. Filling it yourself is always cheaper.
Which machine do you actually need?
Choose the Bobcat S70 if you have a gate
The S70 is 36 inches wide. That is the whole point of it — it fits through a standard side gate, so you can level, spread rock or clear a backyard without taking down a wall or a fence. It lifts 700 lb and comes with a 36-inch bucket.
If your access is a gate rather than an open driveway, this is the only machine on this page that will get through. Renting a bigger one and discovering it does not fit is the most common and most expensive mistake in this business.
Choose the Kubota SSV65 for open ground
65 HP, 1,950 lb operating capacity, and an enclosed cab with air conditioning — which matters more than it sounds in a Phoenix summer. Use it for large residential lots, commercial grading, heavy rock, and breaking out concrete.
Is renting cheaper than hiring someone?
For a one-day job on a small yard, usually yes — a landscaping crew for a day generally costs more than $280, and you keep the machine for the whole day rather than the hour they allocate you.
For anything needing skill — final grade for pavers, drainage fall, retaining work — hire a contractor. A skid steer is easy to move dirt with and hard to move dirt accurately with. Be honest about which job you have.
Common questions
Do I need experience to operate one?
No licence is required on private property, and both machines are straightforward. We walk you through the controls at delivery. If you have never run one, take the S70 — it is smaller, slower and far more forgiving.
How far ahead should I book?
Weekends go first, especially October through April when the weather is good. A few days ahead is usually enough; a week is safer for a Saturday.
What if it rains or the job runs long?
Call us. Extending is normally straightforward if the machine is not already booked out.
Do you deliver outside Phoenix?
Yes — we are based in Glendale and cover the Valley. Beyond 10 miles we quote delivery by mileage, so ask and we will give you the number up front.
